Woof N Ready Terms And Conditions

 

v      An initial free consultation will take place at your home during which the owner warrants to disclose any behaviour or health problems including aggression, lack of house training or excessive barking or whining. All relevant medical history needs to be provided and updated every time you make a booking.

v      The owner warrants that your dog is clean and has received up to date vaccinations and regular treatment for fleas, ticks and worms. The yearly booster certificate will be sufficient to confirm inoculations are up to date.

v      Sorry, uncastrated males over 10 months old and bitches in season are not accepted on group walks.

v      Dogs registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act cannot be accepted for our services.

v      The owner agrees to indemnify Woof n Ready for any and all liability for any loss or damage caused by the dog/animal whilst being walked / visited or boarded. This includes any harm your dog may cause to another animal or human. It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is fully insured and you must produce to us when requested an up to date valid insurance Certificate and Policy.

v      You will provide us with an emergency contact number. In case of emergency we will endeavour to contact you or your nominee. However if we cannot, we reserve the right to make any decision necessary, in the best interest of the animal and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon.

v      In the unlikely event of your pet becoming unwell or needing veterinary treatment we will try to ensure the pets usual vet is visited wherever possible.

v      The owner is responsible for payment of all veterinary fees and disbursements incurred.

v      If we need to visit a vet with your animal you will be charged an additional ₤15 per hour this being our charge in addition to the veterinary fees and disbursements referred to above.

v      Whilst being transported all animals will be caged for their own welfare.

v      Pick up and collection times are between Monday to Friday 8.00am until 6.00pm.  Alternative pick up and drop off times are by arrangement only and may be subject to additional charges.

v      There is a 25% surcharge for any services booked on Saturdays and Sundays and a 50% surcharge for any services booked on a Bank holiday. Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day will have a 100% surcharge applied.

v      House keys are collected at the time of your consultation visit and should you decide to use our services on a regular basis your keys can be held by us to avoid any inconvenience of having to drop it off each time you need pet care. Your security is assured at all times as all keys are held in a secure safe and do not bear any address. Should you not require this service then your keys will be returned to you once you are home. However on each subsequent booking, if you are unable to get the keys to us, we will collect them but will have to charge our basic pet visit rate.

v      Payment may be made in cash or cheque. Cheques need to be made out to Woof n Ready.

v      Bookings can be taken for any period of time and we request that 50% of the total cost of the services provided is paid at the new customer consultation meeting. All invoices must be discharged within 7 days of invoices being rendered and we reserve the right to charge interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate on any monies outstanding one month after invoices are rendered.

v      Please note that a ₤10 charge will be payable for any cancellation of services if less than 24 hours.

v      For home boarding services, a deposit of 50% of the total cost is payable at the time of booking.

v      For home boarding services, if the booking is cancelled with less than two weeks notice, the full deposit will be retained. If the booking is cancelled with less than four weeks notice, 50% of the deposit will be retained.

v      You will not be refunded should you fail to turn up on the date agreed or should you return earlier than the agreed date.

v      If you return late to collect your pet you will be charged at a daily rate of ₤20 for one dog or ₤30 for two dogs plus an additional surcharge of ₤2.00 per dog per day for food.

v      All dogs home boarded must wear a Woof n Ready identity tag throughout the duration of their stay.

v      All dogs home boarded must have current vaccination documentation which includes kennel cough and which is valid for the whole of their stay.  The course of vaccinations must have been completed at least two weeks before the date of the boarding.

v      Sufficient food for your dog should be supplied on arrival, otherwise a charge of ₤2.00 per day per dog will be raised.

v      If the dog being home boarded should show aggressive tendencies or should its behaviour become uncontrollable or a nuisance beyond reasonable acceptance as judged by Woof n Ready staff, it will be placed in a dog boarding kennel until the owners return and this will be subject to a  ₤20 transfer fee.

v       For all our services, journeys outside of our 5 mile radius will be charged at an additional rate of 35p per mile.
