I establised Woof n Ready in 2007.  Ever since I was a child I have had a genuine love for animals and this passion has driven me to set up Woof n Ready after 25 years as a senior retail manager with ASDA.  I consider myself very lucky and fortunate to have the opportunity to shift careers and work within a sector that gives me so much reward each and every single day.

I used to work on a voluntary basis for the RSPCA in Walsall, which was great as I got to spend lots of time with the rescue animals. My passion for animals has been very evident throughout my life with my constant family of pets including, Sally the jack Russell, Kizzy the cat with bags of attitude, Rainbow the one legged budgie and Jasper, Jake, Stripe, Muzzie, Fudge, Pinky and Bugsy the rabbit crew and not forgetting Squeak the guinea pig!!

My best friend at the minute is a lovable rogue called Mpenzi , a black Labrador.  His name originates from the Swahili meaning much loved and believe me he definitely is by everyone who meets him.  He was named as a mark of respect for the many friends I made during my time spent out in Africa working voluntarily as a teacher and setting up a sponsorship programme in an area called Mtwapa near to Mombasa. He is now 5 years old, you may well have seen us down Burbage Common, he will have been the dog jumping in the muddiest puddle, his favourite pastime!

Hi, I am Jamie Fletcher. 

I have recently joined Woof n Ready as a business partner and I am loving every minute of it..... even the days with snow, and there's been a few of those!   I love working with anilmals and being in the fresh air and consider myself very lucky to have such a fulfilling job.

I have my own dog, like Gail, I have a labrador.  She is a beautiful golden colour and is rapidly approaching her first birthday.  I have grown up with pets playing a big role in my life and will never forget Timmy the Westhighland terrier, my introdution to pet dogs.  When I was younger I used to go riding and enjoyed that loads.

My main hobbies now revolve around sport.  I am a keen Leicester City fan and like to go and see as many games as I can.  I also play football myself for a team in Hinckley.
